We commemorate the anniversary of the founding of the Vampire Research Society forty-three years ago with an oil painting titled "Vampirologist" which is inspired by the iconic photograph taken by Lauren Hicks for a magazine photo-shoot at the turn of the 1990s where Seán Manchester also appeared on the magazine's cover. Lauren Hicks' original image shown below was one of several comprising the spread for a feature article about Seán Manchester's life and times as Britain's most celebrated vampirologist/exorcist.
